What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your phone. You install a mobile plan by scanning a QR code instead of inserting a plastic card.

An eSIM is an additional data line, so your usual SIM and phone number stay in the phone.
Your device needs to support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Most recent iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel models support eSIM.
